LeBrun has 8 years experience as a personal fitness trainer, and has written several other books within the fitness/weight loss realm. He brings that knowledge to this book, which covers the basics of eating right, exercising properly, and building muscle with the proper techniques.
Shawn's core muscle building program lasts 12 weeks, and you can expect to spend 3 hours per week working out. You'll be varying the muscle groups each day so that you only workout each group roughly once per week.
During each workout, you'll perform 3 sets of each exercise: a warm-up set, a moderate set, and a real working set. This is supposed to maximize results while minimizing injury.
Aside from the weight training aspect, Shawn also covers nutrition and cardio in some depth.
